SIZE GUIDE

Designed With Fit in Mind.

At Sheridonna Designs, fit is an essential part of the design process. Our garments are developed with careful attention to proportion, silhouette, construction, and how a piece is intended to interact with the body.

Because sizing can vary between designers and garment styles, we encourage you to review the sizing information provided for each piece before making your selection.

Our Ready-to-Wear Sizing

Sheridonna Designs professional dress forms in sizes 6, 8, and 12 used for ready-to-wear garment development.

Sheridonna Designs currently develops ready-to-wear garments using professional dress forms in Sizes 6, 8, and 12 as core development standards.

These dress forms provide consistent reference points throughout the design, draping, pattern development, and garment construction process. Fit models may also be used when appropriate to further evaluate the fit, proportion, movement, and overall wearability of a garment.

As the Sheridonna Designs ready-to-wear collection expands, additional sizing and garment-specific measurements may be introduced.

Our Ready-to-Wear Sizing

Measurements shown represent the body measurements used as Sheridonna Designs development references. Individual garment fit may vary depending on silhouette, fabrication, construction, stretch, and design.

How to Measure

For the most accurate size selection, take your measurements while wearing lightweight clothing or undergarments and keep the measuring tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it too tightly.

BUST

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape level across your back.

WAIST

Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso.

HIPS

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the measuring tape level

Choosing
Your Size

Use your body measurements as your primary reference when selecting a ready-to-wear size.

Because the intended fit varies by design, a structured garment may fit differently from a relaxed, draped, or stretch garment. When a piece has specific fit considerations, they will be noted within the individual product description.

If your measurements fall between sizes, please review the garment-specific fit information before ordering or contact Sheridonna Designs for assistance.

Ready-to-Wear
vs
Bespoke

Ready-to-Wear garments are developed according to established Sheridonna Designs sizing and are produced in predetermined sizes.

Bespoke garments are developed specifically for the individual client. Measurements, proportions, design details, pattern development, fittings, and construction are addressed through the bespoke design process rather than through the ready-to-wear size chart.
